Still standing and operating to this day and the
Neon signs still work at night. The swimming pool has
been filled in, but very little has changed over the

out for the Aberdeen Section of the Tour. There are a
lot of Motels and Diners I have found, but names can
change quickly on these over the years. Any help would

5 Philadelphia Blvd. Aberdeen, Maryland. Listed in the phone Directory in 1966 and a County Street Guide for 1953. Haven't found much more on it, but there are several smaller motels set back from Rt 40, which could be the Blue Bell. I have a feeling the Blue Bell could be the Hendrix .....  |

Tuckaway Rt. 40 - Pulaski Highway Aberdeen, Maryland The Tuckaway Manor Motel was located on Rt 40, just across from the current Walmart, and survived until a few years ago. In later years, it was a Knights Inn, and for a while it was vacant, until it was finally razed and is currently a Farm Store. It had been renovated over the years and it was hard to see the original building in later years. |
