I have a little bit of sorting out for the Aberdeen Section of the Tour. There are a lot of Motels and Diners I have found, but names can change quickly on these over the years. Any help would be greatly appreciated !!!    These pages are updated all the time, as new material and information is found. Holly Hill Motel " Rt 40 , 3 miles south of Aberdeen " ( North of Belcamp )    This place is a gem ! Still standing and operating to this day  and the Neon signs still work at night. The swimming pool has been filled in, but very little has changed over the years here ! ................	............
Motel Cavalier U.S. Route 40 - 1 mile south of Aberdeen Maryland   " Completely " Air-Conditioned" - Television, 11 Modern Units with Private Bath - Wall to Wall Carpets. ( Convenient to Fine Restaurants ) Owner-Operated."   1958 description. Blue Bell Tourist Court ( Motel )   5 Philadelphia Blvd. Aberdeen, Maryland.      Listed in the phone Directory in 1966. Haven't found much more on it, but there are several smaller motels set back fromRt 40, which could be the Blue Bell.	.................
New Ideal Diner Rt 40 Aberdeen Maryland  Not much has changed at the Ideal Diner on Rt 40 in Aberdeen. This is Aberdeen at it's best ! I'll get a current day photo to add to the site.	.

Motel Tuckaway Rt. 40 - Pulaski Highway Aberdeen, Maryland        The Tuckaway Manor Motel was located on Rt 40, just across from the current Walmart, jand survived until about two years ago. In later years, it was a Knights Inn, and for a while it was vacant, until it was finally razed and is currently an empty lot. It had been renovated over the years and it was hard to see the original building in later years. I have some pictures motel just before the razing, and will locate them soon and post them.
