There are several movie theatres we are
researching for Salisbury Md :
Kilduffs already has a page posted for the Arcade
Theatre on Main Street 
Others include the Boulevard Theatre - at 317
East Main Street , listed as early as 1952 from what I can
find. The theatre seated 1100, later was twinned and later
razed . I'm trying to locate any pictures ( hint hint )
The Ulman's Theatre (AKA) Opera House is currently an empty
lot.

In the mid 1910's to the early 1930's,
Salisbury listed a Opera House - Also seen listed as
Ulman's Opera House, - seating 500. At this point , we
checked the location and found an empty lot.
By the late 1930's - there were atleast
four theatres ( including the Arcade ) in town. The
New Theatre was listed on East Main Street , and was listed
from 1938 to 1952. Also listed was Ulman's , seating 600 and
operating from aleast 1938 to the 1950's, and I believe the
theatre operated well after that. Also listed in 1938 was
the Wicomico Theatre , seating between 500 and 560 people.
By 1945, the Ritz Theatre was
listed - seating 460 and listed throught the 1950's
