you see an older postcard on EBAY these days for
Salisbury, it is very likely to be a shot (top)
which you see above of the Arcade Theatre. The
Arcade was listed in the Film Daily from the late
1920's to at least the mid 1950's, and seated
between 750 and 950 people. From what I understand,
the old theatre burned down many years ago. The
site, if I'm not mistaken, is now part of the local
television station. The bottom postcard is
of the same view, a few years later. I found that
postcard on
EBAY, but haven't seen it listed since. The Arcade
shows the name " Schine" on it in later years. Check
