Poolesville actually shows two theatres listed for the years in our survey, the first being Waverly Hall, although that theatre is often noted as being closed when listed. It seated 285 people, but by 1938, there was no longer a listing for Waverly Hall, but now the New Theatre was listed, seating 225, indicating it might be the same building, but with a new name.
