Baltimore's Senator Theatre. The theater continues to show movies on a big screen, as they were really meant to be seen. This place is great and the front is only the beginning, as the entire theatre is in excellent condition. The Senator has been in plenty of Baltimore based films, including those by Barry Levinson and John Waters.

The Senator has out survived other York Road theaters, such as the Rex, Boulevard, and Waverly and well as the York Road Cinema which opened in the 1960's, and ran until the 1980's, located several blocks north, and has since been torn down.
