| We
have so far " discovered " 24 Opera Houses that were
around the State of Maryland. The Stevensville Opera
House almost escaped our view, until we were on a
website run by the State of Maryland Archives and
found mention in several old newspapers. At this
point, It is known that the Stevensville Opera House
was around in the mid to late 1930's, and I have a
feeling it was around earlier, as most Opera Houses
tend to start their origins around the 1920's and
earlier, but a little more research should answer that
question |
