| There were two
movie theatres that we have found in the City of
Mount Rainer Maryland. The first one was the Cameo
Theatre, located at 3820 34th Street, from atleast
the early 1930's to the mid 1950's. The
theatre sat 500 the building is currently used as a
church. ( See Picture below of the Cameo

Kaywood Theatre was built in the mid 1940's, and is
located at 2211 Varnum Street. Seating 949, the
theatre closed years ago and the building was used
as a church, and is very much still in use. |

| Mount Rainer's Cameo Theatre -
Opened in the early 1920's - closing in the early
1950's - Used for many years as a church, seating 575
people. |
