We have found four theatres for Takoma Park  :
     Back in the 1920's, the town theatre was the Takoma Theatre at 6833 4th Street. That building was later used as a church and might still be standing. Later, movies were shown in the Takoma Mission College, listed in the late 1930's.
    Two more recent theatre ( 1950's ) were the Flower Theatre, and the Allen Theatre. The Allen had been located at 6822 New Hampshire Avenue. A fire in 2009 gutted the building, which had been used as a clothing store.
   The Flower ( 1950 - mid 1990's  - seating just under 1,000 )  is still standing, being used as a church for years, the current status seems to be vacant with plans in the works ......
