Here's what we have found so far for Leonardtown :

     In 1931, movies were shown in the Town Hall, located at 236 Washington ( from what we can find ). The Film Daily shows a listing for 1931, seating 400. By the late 1930's, the Duke Theatre is seen listed ( Above ) , seating 400, and listed by the Film Daily in 1938. By the mid 1940's, Movies were shown in the St Mary's , which seated between 400 and 450 people. Also listed in the early 1950's was the New Theatre, ( below ) which may have later gone by the name the Rex Theatre, seating 590.
