The Uptown Theatre was built in an area known as Park Heights, and made famous with Pimlico Racetrack and the Preakness just up the street. The Uptown opened in the 1940's, and closed for good in the 1970's. The old theatre has since been used by different church groups and looks to be in excellent condition from the outside. ................................................................... .....
