R     Not much has been found written about movie theatres in Rising Sun, which is in Cecil County. The photos above are what we believe is the old Sun Theatre, which still stands. Movies were shown in earlier years at the Fireman's Hall, also known in earlier years as the Town Hall, located at Queen and Cherry Streets. From what we can tell, the old hall has been torn down and a newer building, used as a Fire Station is on the site now.
                                                            Any information would be appreciated.
