    Havre de Grace has a interesting history of movies, with one theatre being torn down, only to have a second built right at the same site. The Willou Theatre was an earlier theatre on St John's Street,( as was the Bijou Theatre on the same block ) and Kilduff's was advised that the small store to the left of the State Theatre, which is currently on the lot, was in fact the Willou Theatre, just converted to other uses. Apparently the store even has a sloped floor, like a movie theatre, but a check of insurance records and maps shows the State built directly on the Willou Theatre site.

Could this be in fact the Willou Theatre standing next to the State Theatre ? We don't think so, but it's an interesting idea.
