..................................................... The Roxy opened in the 1910's, and closed in the 1950's. The theatre also went by the name of the Fayette Theatre.  The odd looking Formstone front and marquee certainly attracted the attention of commuters traveling in on Fayette Street. In recent years, the formstone had come off , as well as the marquee.
