Two 2013 views of the Red Wing theatre - The front hides the facade well, but the side has not been altered after all these years.      ( Below )  a1980's view of the old theater, which had been converted into shops for the past years after closing down. The Red Wing was the smaller of two theaters on East Monument Street in the area, the other one being the much larger State Theatre. The Red Wing was a popular neighborhood movie house for years.

Below, looking north on Patterson Park Avenue, towards Monument Street , you can clearly see the old design of the Red Wing Theatre building. Although this picture was taken by in the 1980's, the size of the building has not been altered in any way over the past 30 years and remains like this to this day. References :
