The Pikes Theatre back in the late 1980's, and the infamous " For Sale " sign . A " For Sale " sign on the marquee of a movie theatre in the 1980's was never a good sign. However, the Pikes fared well in this deal as you can see to the right.

The Pikes Theatre in 2002 as a catering opeartion,  which has used the building quite nicely. While the lower section of the facade has been changed to incorporate the cafe, much of the building remains the same.

This full front shot gives you a nice idea of how the Pikes Theatre looked in the 1980's. The Pikes is an attractive Art Deco theatre and in an area where real estate is at a premium, I wondered what would happen to the old theatre when it was sold.

The new owners of the Pikes have done a great job at keeping the building as original as possible.
