| Over the years, there were atleast two
movie houses in Smithsburg Maryland. In early years,
from atleast 1923 that
we have found, the Opera House was located on the
second floor of 34 Water
Street . In later years, the Washington County town
had the Potomac Theatre,
seating 150, listed in 1931. ( They may have been one
and the same ) |
