The Maryland Theatre was one of Cumberland' s older and larger movie theatres, located in the Unit block of North Mechanic Street, just north of Baltimore Street. The theater had a stage and room for scenery , along with a lobby and a balcony.The dressing room, at the rear right hand side of the building, faced the rear of the Liberty Theatre one block over on North Liberty Street. The building no longer stands.
