| The Hollywood Theatre was quite a
sight back in the 1980's. The movie theatre had
survived well into the 1990's, and has been one of
those rare overlooked success stories in Baltimore's
movie theater history. In the 1990's , the Hollywood
Theatre burned down, and it looked like a bit of
history would be lost for good. However, the owners
rebuilt the theatre and the new Hollywood Theatre
continues to show movies. |

was rebuilt, and while not quite the art deco
delight it had been, I have to admit the new
building does look nice.
