Where once streetcars passed by, now lightrail cars take control of Howard Street. I wonder how many riders even realize the past of this once great area ?

Plans are in the works to redevelop the entire area, which included saving the old Hippodrome and soon the Town Theatre. I'm not sure where the Howard Theatre fits into the plans. It had been used as a Dunkin Donuts and later as a shoe store.
