| References : Film Daily Yearbook 1931 350 seats ( Listed under the town of Echard Mines ) Film Daily Yearbook 1952 Not Listed Only one entry ( reference ) has been found for the Gem Theatre , showing the theatre in 1931 seating 350. Kilduffs has been searching and we have located the Gem, and the tiny theatre is still standing. It is currently being used as The Miracle Tabernacle, which may or may not be closed at this time. The theatre was next to old railroad tracks ( seen in old photos in the past ) and was built by James Lafferty , according to one article. The railroad tracks are no longer there . |
