.....It's rare we find an interior shot of any theatre, but we managed to find this one of the Federal Theatre dating back to the 1930's

The theatre was listed from atleast 1938 to 1952 ( although we have seen accounts of the present building opening in 1941 ) , seating between 480- and 700.
Federalsburg also listed the Temple Theatre in town in 1931, seating 345. A check of the Insurance map in 1932 shows the theatre.
The town also listed an Opera House - at 117-119 South Main Street  in 1931- seating 400. They are all likely the same building.
In 1916, there was a mention in the Moving Picture World magazine for the Federalsburg Opera House of a reopening by F.M. Breeding on 9-15-1916 after a brief closing.
