A look at the
Diane Theatre in the 1940's , long before it
was torn down in the 1990's. The Diane out
survived the Royal and Regent Theatres, but
even this old theatre couldn't outlive the
changes that Pennsylvania Avenue has
undergone. The old theater has been replaced
with a modern church.

released in 1936, " Love Laughs at Andy
Hardy " in 1946 and " White Witch Doctor
" in 1953. |

block, which was all razed in the 1990's to
