| The Diane Theatre back in the 1950's. Behind the Diane, about two blocks south is the massive Royal Theatre. Both theatres have since been torn down. | A look at the Diane Theatre in the 1980's, before it was torn down. The Diane out survived the Royal and Regent Theatres, but even this old theatre couldn't outlive the changes that Pennsylvania Avenue has undergone. The old theater has been replaced with a modern church. |
