The Colonial Theatre opened up in 1914
, and showed movies through the mid 1970's. The
building is currently used by the Bridge of Life
Church. The block actually has all three old movie
houses on it, the Colonial, the Maryland, and the
Palace / Henry's, and all three buildings are
still standing.
