It's difficult to tell what the fate of the old Crystal Theatre is these days . Gay Street is known as the Old Town Mall, and it is deserted. For years, the building had a hair salon inside it, but now even that is gone. I had heard rumours that the street was going to be reopened to vehicle traffic, but nothing has happened so far. The Crystal operated from the mid 1910's to the late 1920's.
