The entire front of the building would be
redone as each movie would come in. The advetise was in
fact the movie theatre itself. I found several off these
old front shots in the collection of John H. Kilduff and
Patricia K. Paul, most dating from around the 1950's.
The photographs survived well over the years, and I
posted a few years back, but have recently seen the same
photographs on all types of sites, and have sadly had to
hallmark them on the Kilduff's site. My guess is the
theatre front would be redone after the theatre closed,
and after all the work was done, they would get a photo
of the front before calling it a day, or like a morning.
