The entire front of the building would be redone as each movie would come in. The advetise was in fact the movie theatre itself. I found several off these old front shots in the collection of John H. Kilduff and Patricia K. Paul, most dating from around the 1950's. The photographs survived well over the years, and I posted a few years back, but have recently seen the same photographs on all types of sites, and have sadly had to hallmark them on the Kilduff's site. My guess is the theatre front would be redone after the theatre closed, and after all the work was done, they would get a photo of the front before calling it a day, or like a morning.

Much of the material would already be done, sent from the movie studio to the theatres. However, it was up to the theatre itself how to make the material stand out and grab the attention of the public. Reading some of the ads John Kilduff drew, it was funny to see how he described movies.
