| Baltimore Sights are photos along the lines
of Baltimore Views, those pictures that don't fit into
any
category at this point. However Baltimore Sights are
views of Baltimore
Today, or in the past couple of years. Taking pictures
around Baltimore,
you come up with some great shots. ............................................................................ ...............................................................................................................................................................

..................![]() ........Never miss a photo op ! As they were taking apart Memorial Stadium, seat by seat , back in the 1990's, I had the chance to get this photo. |
.........................![]() ....................Looking North from the Science Center roof, towards the Inner Harbor and Harborplace. Circa 1980's |
..................................................![]() .............At one of the Eastside intersections of Fell's Point on Broadway, this old corner building for years sat with vacant upper floors. I believe over the years they fixed it up, but I always liked that window. |
.................![]() Old car sitting at a scrap yard in Essex Maryland, just off of the Baltimore Beltway back in the 1980's. The entire scrapyard is gone now. |

...................![]() ........................................................................ One of my few flights over Baltimore in the 1980's. |
....................................![]() Spotted just a few years ago off of Fort Avenue in South Baltimore, I'm not too sure how old the sign was, but it was neat looking none the less. I don't think it' still there. |
........................![]() .............................At some point, the front of this building, on Gay Street I believe, must have been transformed into a bank, as the first floor was fixed up, but the second floor remains the front of a common rowhouse . |
.................![]() ................... You have to look close to see the design on the handrail, and the initial "E". and "M". Likely an old Baltimore Pharmacy in West Baltimore City, near Fulton Avenue. |

................![]() .........Once a very common sight around the City, these old Coca-Cola round metal signs have become collector items, and finding them these days is just about impossible. If they did manage to survive, they are often painted over. You might have guessed these are located at Hamburg and Cross Streets in Southwest Baltimore. |

This old sign survived for years off of Payson Street ( I think it was Payson Street ) in West Baltimore just south of Edmondson Avenue. The building appeared abandoned, but the sign was always there until a few years ago when it was gone. Anyone have any ideas what happened to this sign ? |

Just to the north of downtown Baltimore, Hillen Road runs right into downtown Baltimore. Just a few blocks north of the area, just about where the old Hillen train station was, this old glass block lounge can be found. I've never seen any lights on in this place, but you never know. Still think the front is cool looking. |

West Baltimore Street is undergoing a lot of development, with the expansion of the University of Maryland Medical Center . On one corner, a lone house, that seems to have once been converted into a carry out sits, empty, as the Medical Center grows block to block to it's door. |
This neat old sign is just outside of a old shop in the area of Charles Street and Lanvale Street. The shop is still open. |

On Reisterstown Road, about a mile north of Northern Parkway, this non-descript building with the neat signs attached can be found. |
Park Heights Avenue, just south of Rogers Avenue, what appears to be the ruins of a long closed Florist stands. A "G" can be be seen in the chimney in this picture. |
